TEXAS TRIVIAS

Here are a few trivias that make the Lone Star state what it is and what we brag about.

When it comes to cattle and cotton, Texas is king. But we also lead the nation in sheep and goat production. And Texas is internationally famous for its wool and mohair.:

2) Texas produces more wool than any other U.S. states.

3) Edwards Terrain, in the western part of the state, is the main sheep breeding zone in the U.S.

4) The state features the biggest flock of white tail deer in the country.

  1. Yay, Texas! Thanks for sharing these facts, Carra. We need to make people in all the other states envious. Well, except maybe about Brewster County, which is 6,208 square miles of NOTHIN'. :-D (Part of Big Bend is in the county, though. Whew!)
