I am not self publishing Kane's Redemption--it's published through Western Trail Blazer publishing which also publishes books for people with much bigger names than mine such as Troy Smith, Kit Prate and Peter Brandvold.
CherylCheryl Piersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116526340220274282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-4068111773245778942012-02-01T14:08:32.918-06:002012-02-01T14:08:32.918-06:00Tanya,

They use your name as it is on your Amazon Account @ Kindle.com
So yours would be CherylPierson@Kindle.com
You open a new message--
To: CherylPierson@Kindle.com
...and attach your Word document-whatever it is.
Turn on your Kindle--I have wireless--and it appears, but since it's being converted it often takes 30-60 seconds.
Try it--it's a hand tool.

Also, if someone gives you a pdf of their book, you can email it, too. Now sometimes the formatting is too small or something, but if that happens, I use Calibre to reformat it to Mobi.

I load the pdfs of my own books on the Kindle..always trying the easy way of emailing...or go to Calibre. I like to see them in ebook form without buying my own book!
Gee, you didn't ask for all that, did you?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16272417114895975742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-78449420165203561102012-01-28T11:42:21.355-06:002012-01-28T11:42:21.355-06:00Hey Celia,

I started writing it and it just flowed--I thought it might be hard, but it seemed to want to just be one of those books that wrote itself. I don't know how to e-mail stuff to my kindle. How does that work? Yes, this story is really one of those about the characters being able to resolve some hard issues and go on with life. I hope you enjoy it!
CherylCheryl Piersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116526340220274282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-60141744040153916292012-01-28T11:16:57.382-06:002012-01-28T11:16:57.382-06:00Cheryl--I do remember reading parts of this for yo...Cheryl--I do remember reading parts of this for you, but now I'll get the entire story. I love to see how one looks on the Kindle rather than a document in Word.
I've done that with my own and another friend--email it to my Kindle to see how it reads there. Have you done that? I catch errors that I don't catch in a document.
Anyway, this story is so wonderful in concept, I hardly know what to say. The word Redemption catches my attention, because that's the best kind of romance novel, in my eyes. I love to "save" or "redeem" a character.
Good luck with this one...I'll bet it's a real seller.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16272417114895975742noreply@blogger.com
