I wonder how much it still resembles the original house. Silver was big during the end of the gold rush days, but it doesn't seem to have the same glitter in history.Paisley Kirkpatrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06401039126457210324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-12751876792348318672012-02-02T11:17:06.580-06:002012-02-02T11:17:06.580-06:00Thanks Ashley. I don't know if I could have survived under some of their circumstances. The mansion certainly was beautiful.Paisley Kirkpatrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06401039126457210324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-86092520089232064242012-02-02T11:15:27.371-06:002012-02-02T11:15:27.371-06:00Thanks Caroline. Maybe it's those tall mountains they live in. :)Paisley Kirkpatrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06401039126457210324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-71816417577531957222012-02-02T07:59:25.914-06:002012-02-02T07:59:25.914-06:00What an intriguing story. On the other hand, no on can say she never achieved her dreams...she did...but just lost them too soon. Very strange story. It's difficult to believe one woman could go throught that much...but I suppose it happens all too often.
Thanks, Paisley--I thoroughly enjoyed reading this tale.
P.S.--I have heard of this woman.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16272417114895975742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-39269647394216994362012-02-02T00:29:53.369-06:002012-02-02T00:29:53.369-06:00Fascinating, Paisley. Thanks for a terrific story.Caroline Clemmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14914658854159456335noreply@blogger.com
