It does make you wonder what in the heck was going on in the minds of these people that created them, doesn't it?
Cheryl Piersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116526340220274282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1822452633282744192.post-43229183636573953682015-12-28T17:35:40.026-06:002015-12-28T17:35:40.026-06:00LOL Sarah, I have to admit that frog murder/robber...LOL Sarah, I have to admit that frog murder/robbery was one of my "favorites"--if you can call it that. There were even more, but I didn't include all of them. I had done a post or two on vintage Easter cards that were just as weird as these. My next venture will be a post for Valentine cards. I'm sure the "fun" doesn't stop with Easter and Christmas. There were more, ...Aren't these all just awful? There were more, but the mind can only handle "just so much"--my author pal, Bob Vardeman, posted something on FB with these in it, and I just had to pick up the ball and run with it. I don't understand how someone would come up with these off-the wall themes. The stabbed frog was certainly noteworthy. LOL
All the same, I love vintage cards. Some of them are just beautiful like works of art.
Loved your blog, Cheryl.Sarah J. The are so weird and odd, it does make you wonder "what were they thinking?" I don't know where you found these, but you did a darn good job of researching.
None made sense, did they? I always love anything vintage, but these border on something malicious. Well done!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16272417114895975742noreply@blogger.com
